I'm writing from a mobile phone, I have to write in "short mode" ;). We only know a part of the problem, and I just answer to that part (how to import a file if we do not know its filename). Anyway I totally agree with you.

File: Sales Agent Portal Integrated with MS Dynamics NAV
ONLINE STORE DOES NOT MAKE SALES TEAM REDUNDANT Sales are an integral part of any e-Commerce business. Part of what makes a sales team successful is the customer relationships they are able to build – it drives sales and goodwill in any B2B e-Commerce scenario. To maximize the potential of any sales team, support them with the right tools and resources. Nav-to-Net Sales Agent Portals ensure visibility for sales activities and real-time status updates. WHY CHOOSE NAV-TO-NET SALES AGENT PORTALS? • See sales results faster. Operating under one integrated solution means greater visibility for any sales person/team, allowing them to move and act quickly with informed decisions • Respond better to customers and act in their best interests • Impersonate and checkout like a customer on their behalf • Build customer loyalty, benefiting the business time and time again

Forum Post: RE: Skype Issues
Hi @spiderrob, You are not asking to the right forum. Have you created your account only to ask this question? This seems some kind of desperation, but I doubt that someone here can give you a solution for your problem, almost all of us use Windows. Good luck!!!

Forum Post: RE: Pole display on Retail Sales Order screen in LSNAV 2013 R2
Hi Ashish, If you have questions about specific ISV solutions, like LS Retail, then you have a much better chance to get help directly from the ISV. But I'm sure it is possible to interface the pole display. Not sure about how it is done, or if it works in your version. Everything can be interfaced!

Forum Post: Join the BC/NAV user group to post
Dear members of DUG, Here on DUG we have a group structure with separate groups for AX, NAV, CRM etc. This we have had since Spring 2016. Back then it was decided not to implement a requirement to also join these groups, to be able to post and reply etc. This was done not to change too much at the time, when most of the pages, forums and groups were also changed. In the mean while we have tried to get everybody to join, which many did do. But now the time is here. From now in it's required that everyone who posts in our groups, also joins that group. Joining groups is as always free.

I would think so, but you might want to add which specific pole display you talk about. That may be important too.

To my knowledge, then subcontracting is not supported in the Assembly feature as such. Only in manufacturing.

Blog Post: Disabling users to access NAV with specific client types
Today on forums was out this question: how to disable access to Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web Client for specific users? Unfortunately there’s no a native function for disabling a user to access the NAV system with a specific client type (web, mobile, tablet and so on), but this can be easily handled with a customization. My suggested way (valid also for Extensions) is to create an Event Subscriber to the OnBeforeCompanyOpen event in codeunit 1 ( ApplicationManagement ). Here you can check the... Read the full text.
